As he ventures deeper into the country, Yann retraces the thread of his own history and the source of his deepest inspiration. The ghost of Léon Gontran Damas, champion of Négritude, looms over him.
From Paris to Cayenne, from electro to the ancestral rhythm of the ‘foulé’ drums, from the spotlight to the Amazon rainforest… Through his music, Yann composes a new score bridging France and its former colony.
