In this exhibition on the painter Gaston Chaissac, recognized today as a major artist of the 20th century, Drôle de Trame presents a spectacular immersive installation.
In a dedicated room, a cube, mapped with projections on its inner and outer sides, offers a dive into the artist's work.
Around the cube, the public contemplates more than 150 works, drawings, paintings and sculptures, animated and projected.
Inside the cube, a film, made up of photos, letter, various works, animated and projected on the 3 sides, invites to enter the life of this free and unclassifiable artist.
A soundtrack completes the show: music, narration and extracts from Chaissac's letters bring the character to life.
